Dare Family Services offers two critical services to children, adults and families in the southeast region. The Intensive Foster Care program serves the Department of Children and Families (DCF) offices in the region when placement is needed for children in foster care. This program offers supportive casework for foster parents and children in placement. The Family Support and Stabilization program offers stabilization services for intact families referred to us by DCF; these families need support to avoid out-of-home placement(s) for a child or children in the home. Dare staff members and parent coaches provide these services.
